On 6 July, Profess Yongxin Xu visited Tongren and held a symposium at the Tongren Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment to conduct academic exchanges and guidance on groundwater surveys, pollution control and protection.

At the forum, the Party Secretary and Director of the Tongren Ecological and Environmental Bureau Yong Zhang the Party Committee of the Bureau of Ecology and Environment expressed a warm welcome to Professor Yongxin Xu and his party from afar. Professor Xu introduced his main research directions and praised the rapid development of ecological and environmental undertakings in Guizhou Province and Tongren City in recent years.
